DomainPatrol is an administration and documentation tool for IBM Lotus Notes & Domino environments.
The Scanner will browse your environment and gather database information into the Inventory. As your environment changes the Scanner will update the Inventory incrementally.



Inventory
  • View the databases and all the database properties gathered by the Scanner including templates, ACLs, agents and script libraries.
  • Full text search the Inventory for specific properties, agent or script library source code, etc.
  • Find common problems that you may have in your environment.
  • Perform mass changes through dialog-based DomainPatrol action tools.




Documentation
  • Add responsibility roles, document who’s responsible for each database/application.
  • Add documentation for each database/application into the documentation repository.
  • Create Configuration Items, group multiple NSFs into applications or services.
  • Create a Logical Model of dependencies and relations within the environment.




Setup
  • Install the DomainPatrol Scanner, download licenses from your DomainPatrol Account.
  • Create Scanner jobs that handle the settings for the DomainPatrol Scanner.
  • Start Scanner jobs or schedule Scanner jobs to run incrementally.
  • View Scanner logs to analyze the Scanner job execution.
