Introduction to Inventory
Information about your databases is gathered by having the DomainPatrol Scanner browse your servers.
The data is stored in the DomainPatrol Inventory. As your environment changes the Scanner will incrementally update the Inventory.
The Inventory is displayed using views to make it easy to find and act on the inventory information.
Servers
All severs that have been scanned by the DomainPatrol Scanner.
Run server commands and check out performance.
Databases
All databases that have been scanned by the DomainPatrol Scanner, including advanced properties.
Search and filter out databases based on their properties, fix problems and apply mass changes.
Templates
All databases that have been scanned by the DomainPatrol Scanner, including heritance relations.
Search and filter out templates based on their properties, fix problems and apply mass changes.
Access Control Lists
These views show all ACL entries that have been scanned by the DomainPatrol Scanner.
Apply mass changes like setting ACL properties, set access levels, roles or rename entries.
Agents
All agents that have been scanned by the DomainPatrol Scanner, including source code.
Search for properties or code, then apply changes like enable/disable, sign, compile or run.
Script Libraries
All script libraries that have been scanned by the DomainPatrol Scanner, including source code.
Full text search the code, or apply changes like sign, compile or remove from database.
Filter Folders
Filtering out a subset of databases or templates and save that list to a filter folder.
Go back anytime to continue working with the subset, e.g. create a report or run action tools.
(Will not show until the first filter folder has been created.)
